David Rosfeld is the co-writer and directer of the low budget feature FOR THE COMMON MAN, the short film COAL and the writer of five feature length screenplays: MEMER REB, MANITOU SPRINGS, MARCH, VICTOR and SEPTEMBER. SEPTEMBER was one of eleven projects chosen for the Berlinale Talent Project Market in 2007 and VICTOR is currently in pre-production.

After making his first feature film, he moved to London for six years, initially working as an assistant editor for an upstart art and current affairs magazine before returning to his passion for screenwriting and filmmaking.
After brief stint living in Norway, David returned to the United States where he was asked to teach in the OCCC film program alongside legendary producer Grey Fredrickson (THE GODFATHER, APOCALYPSE NOW, THE OUTSIDERS). Followed by a year living and writing in Canada, he moved to Brooklyn in 2007, which he now calls home.
